The Rajasthan Society of Extension Education, popularly known as RSEE, was established in 1990 at Udaipur with the great vision of promoting potential use of advanced agricultural technology by rural masses through agricultural education. The wide spectrum focus of the society has been towards fast and effective transfer of agricultural technology, development of human resources through enrichment of knowledge and wisdom, high level pursuit for total technology underpinning food safety, sustainability of rich resources of the country and income to all the rural sections of the population in general and tribal, scheduled caste, other backward classes & minority, in particular.
The Rajasthan Society of Extension Education is a registered body registered under Govt. of Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958 (Rajasthan Act No. 28, 1958). It was registered on 8th January 2003. The registration number is 206/Udaipur/2002-2003.
The Society has around 500 National and International life members and more than 25 institutional members. Organization of academic activities and events are the regular features of the society. The society has organized successfully a National Seminar on IT application in Agriculture for Livelihood Security of farmers in the year 2009 at Udaipur and a International Conference on Extension Education in the Perspective of Advances in natural Resource Management in Agriculture in the year 2012 at Bikaner to give a further impetus to this society.
